Buying
by the lobster can cost you a 20% loss in weight and a
price increase of $3-5 per lb of lobster. Internet lobster offers are most often for a
weight spread for a particular size. If the offer is for
a box of 12 count select lobsters between 2.5 to 3 pound lobsters; a 6 pound difference could occur
at half a pound per lobster if only 2.5 lb lobsters were packed. You could be short six pounds of lobster.
Our
method is after packing, the true weight packed will be measured. Assurance that the ordered advertised weight is achieved is done by re-selecting lobsters until the advertised weight is met or exceeded. If it is over; the extra is on us and will not be charged.
