We use Federal Express for all of our live Maine lobster shipped for overnight delivery. Because of volume, FedEx gives us a discounted fee on our half and whole cartons shipped. This set discount allows us to accurately charge by the pound for lobster not by the piece. A VERY IMPORTANT POINT. Why buy lobster by size spread not knowing the true weight? It's like the butcher with his thumb on the scale. Buy by true weight
Place orders before 2:30 P.M. Mon-Fri EST. Though some lobster stores include delivery or charge less; we still are the best price and value for our quality hard shell lobsters. Compare prices.
Live lobsters delivered to your door. Your lobsters will arrive alive and kicking before
3 P.M.T-F & 10:30 P.M. Saturday for regular FedEx Deliveries. Rural areas are delivered a little later depending on location.
Signature not required is the best selection for delivery. You will be home anyway and if you miss the FedEx Delivery man; he will not leave your shipment. So we send all shipments with no signature required. If you really want signature required, FedEx charge $4.50 which will be added to your bill. Sometimes it is best to ship to your place of business or to a friend if you are worried about the safety of your shipment. But you are entitled to select signature required if you care to do so. Call us if you are concerned and we can discuss your options. So far we have not had any problems with missing shipments in over 25 years shipping with FedEx.
You can receive validation of your order with FedEx Routing Number if you include your email in the shipping form, an email will be sent after shipment of your order informing you of the tracking number. You are not required to enter your email; it is up to you but it is good for brief messages during shipping. We do not store any email or address information nor do we email advertisement campaigns.
